Last Saturday night Joe and I went to the Visions club. Before Saturday, the New Covenant Church asked if we had anymore ladies who needed their Angle Tree. The deadline had already passed and the gifts were going to be distributed yesterday at the church so I took several forms into the club and told all the girls there about what New Covenant wanted to help them with..
I did not get any ladies who wanted to participate except for a young women who wasnt there but her friend called her and filled out her information over the phone! I took it to the church on Sunday morning and turned it in. This young women has 5 children and I got her cell number and called her yesterday to tell her that I remember her from 2 outreaches ago and I would be there to meet her at the church on Wednesday. I met her and walked into the church where several tables full of people worked diligently to wrap all 10 families’ presents. Out of the 10, Wings had 5 women who needed help. This woman was so sweet and grateful.
After we met pastor Sam and Hannah H., who coordinated the Angel Tree project, Sam and another man came to meet her and asked if they could pray for her. She said yes and we all laid hands on her and prayed. She began to have tears in her eyes . She was really moved by the people who helped her with Christmas for her children.She expressed to me that she just didn’t feel worthy to have that kind of love and work the profession she does. As we walked to the car, I hugged her and cried with her and told her Jesus loved several women whose profession was not acceptable by the church of the day! They even became His most committed followers. The neat thing is that she has also a side business of remodelling homes. She showed me videos of what she does to restore old homes to bright and shiny floors, walls, etc. She really knows what she is doing in that field. If you know of anyone who is tryng to find someone who can remodel and restore, she would be the one.
She was very open to me and I found a sweet hearted young woman who Jesus created with the Father and wants her to know Him as much as He knows her. Please pray for N……….
I had conversations with several ladies and am so grateful for C……. who helped me to obtain N….. cell number so that I could let her know I would meet her there. C….. is very sweet as well. I seemed to be very received by most of the ladies I talked with in the dressing room. It is always a ‘God’ thing when this happens!
Please pray for D….. G…….. 4 others I visited with that they may have a revelation of the Father and His son Jesus Christ.
Many thanks to NCC church, pastor Sam, Chris, and Hannah! Pray for the 2 pastors who may deliver 3 more bikes to this young woman this week.. They may have the opportunity to share with her how to become His follower!
We are so grateful for the gift bags that were supplied by CCF church in Lindale and Tabitha K. We love you women with a heart for these ladies. I also was able to include a scroll size testimony of one of our sweet friends, Nichole. Pray that the ladies will be able to gain whatever Jesus can impress on them through Nicholes testimony!
I will be sending her testimony and M….. ‘s as well to all of our churches and groups who help us with these Outreaches!
Please also pray for me this Sunday as one of the Angel Tree ladies and I will be going to another small town in East Texas to take the angel tree gifts and pick up her 2 boys from their home with their grandmother, to shop for clothes and needs. She doesn’t get to see them very much because she lives 2 hours away. There is a friend of mine who lives in the same town as H…… and has helped her tremendously this past year. She has also donated funds for this shopping event.
I can’t tell you enough how these faithful donors and volunteers make it possible for us to help these women!
Please pray for H…….. who struggles in her growth in Christ. Pray that she would have n encounter with the lord Jesus and know in her heart how much He cares for her.
Also, please pray for Dwayne, the young man who is hoping to get presented for parole soon. He is the brother of an x dancer and whom I have been writing to for the past 15 years. Currently the website I use to communicate to him and send him donations now and then has closed me out. I am not the greatest techy person and really need to have a break through to get this site open to me again. Pray for favor for him with the parole board. Some of you have helped with writing letters of reccomendation for him and we are grateful.
Also, I ran into a best friend of another dancer we helped for years. She had a health condition and died in 2015 leaving behind 3 children. The youngest is a teenager who has had a very rough life since her mom died when she was about 7. She has asked this friend to contact me because she wants to talk with me. I have tried to connect with her. Pray for McK………… and her sister Ta……. and brother Ch………
We pray you have the best Christmas ever and know Him more intimately than ever!
